The Better Swimmers have birthed a new Winnipeg music festival called POP! ET CETERA, which runs from October 07-18th, 2009 + includes performances by acts such as Shout Out Out Out Out, vitaminsforyou, Young Galaxy, Library Voices and Bend Sinister, to name a few. Planet SHHH’s older sister/brother Better Swimmers recently re-launched it’s website, which now includes a ‘label’ section. That’s right, as well as promoting shows + dabbling in graphic design The Swimmers are now promoting (mostly, but not limited to) local/CDN music via “the internet.” The first digital release is a new single by homegrown indiedancefuzzrockers, the Crosstown Rivals. The track is called Exits + the EP includes remixes by Vitaminsforyou, Get Famous! + DJ Co-op. Oh, and it’s free!
